Breitling Replica announces the launch of its Superocean Heritage ’57 Breitling capsule collection, whose watches are inspired by the design of the brand’s original 1957 SuperOcean. They also embody the cool, relaxed surf lifestyle of the 1950s and 1960s. The soundtrack? Take your pick – but your mixtape would have to include “Wipe Out” and a selection of songs from the Beach Boys, the Ventures, and Jan and Dean.

Breitling’s capsule collections are produced for a limited time and therefore in limited editions, but the watches are not numbered. They give the brand the opportunity to tell special stories rooted in the history of its core collection – and the watches in the Breitling Superocean Heritage ’57 capsule collection definitely have their own stories to tell.

The Breitling Superocean Heritage ’57 capsule collection adds some interesting touches to a true global diving icon. Each watch in the collection is a modern, retro take on a classic water timepiece, embodying the laid-back lifestyle of surfers and beachgoers.

The Superocean Heritage ’57 capsule collection is available with two dial options. One has a classic black dial and is presented on a vintage-style black leather strap with a pin buckle or folding clasp. The other has a blue dial and is fitted with a vintage-style brown leather strap with a pin buckle or folding clasp. Of course, both are also available with an integrated Ocean Classic stainless steel bracelet with double folding clasp. Additionally, there is a two-tone version with a bidirectional rotating 18k red gold bezel with a black ceramic ring. This remarkable watch has a black dial and is available with either a vintage-style gold brown leather strap or an Ocean Classic stainless steel bracelet with a double folding clasp.
